Mounting Stop Collars:

ENERTROLS Mounting Stop Collar (MSC™), shown installed on a Gold Line™ Primary-Mount Series shock absorber, eliminates designing, engineering and fabricating special external positive stops. The MSC™ provides a secure front mounting with an integral, tamperproof positive stop. It establishes a fixed workpositioning point. There is no need to calculate clearance to prevent bottoming out when mounting the shock absorber ifs automatic!

The collar also provides a visual check to see that the full stroke of the shock absorber is being used at all times. Hardened steel construction assures that the units will not deform or change dimension under heavy cycling operations. Available to fit all Gold Line™ and SILVERLINE™ Primary-Mount Models.

Positive Stop Collars:

ENERTROLS Positive Stop Collar (PSC™), shown installed on a Gold Line™ Primary-Mount Series (also for SILVERLINE™ Series). It is not used to mount the unit, but only to establish a fixed, tamperproof work-positioning point that also provides a positive stop to protect the shock absorber from bottoming out. You do not need to calculate clearance to prevent bottoming out.

The high-strength, hardened-steel collar does not interfere with the adjustment of the shock absorber. Both the PSC™ and MSC™ collars aid in protecting the return spring, piston rod and threads from weld spatter, metal chips and other contaminating materials
