Special-Purpose, Non-Adjustable Shock Absorbers

2 1/4 Bore Long-Stroke Shock Absorbers*

This 2 1/4" bore long-stroke non-adjustable shock absorber is an Enertrols standard design with custom orificing for the application. These units are often used where G-force is the governing factor, such as in stacking cranes, overhead cranes and free-fall applications. Please consult the factory about our Computer Assistance Program for sizing this type unit.

Double-Acting Shock Absorber*

Enertrols built this non-adjustable shock absorber for deceleration applications in both directions (push or pull). It can handle a different force in either direction and can be designed to operate in push or pull mode only. This shock absorber is built with single-orifice metering for speed control damping applications.

Special-Purpose Non-Adjustable Shock Absorbers*

Enertrols build non-adjustable shock absorbers such as this unit for use in a state-of-the-art amusement ride. They feature a self-compensating load capacity, using an inner metering tube selected for the application. The shock absorbers must safely decelerate the ride, and its passengers, under constantly changing loads and velocities since the number of riders may vary widely. Many industrial applications, involving the same conditions, make use of this custom-orificed, special Enertrols design.

*All units shown on this page are standard Enertrols designs. However, they are built to order with custom orificing. For details, contact the factory.
