Glass Industry Non-Adjustable Shock Absorbers

Designed for use on glass bottle-making equipment (blow molding), these single-purpose Enertrols shock absorbers are non-adjustable. The units have special orificing to provide minimum deceleration forces when handling the newly made bottles. Operating conditions are quite rugged with high cycle rates and very high ambient temperature conditions. The model above has a 1 1/8" bore and a 1" stroke length. The model at right is a 3/4" bore x 1" stroke unit.

2 1/4" Bore Long-Stroke Shock Absorbers

Enertrols special design Long-Stroke Models are non-adjustable shock absorbers. They offer a variable, self-compensating load capacity for each individual application. Six stroke lengths are available.

A major application for these units has been on computerized stacking cranes in special warehouse retrieval systems. The shock absorber serves as a safety backup in the event the computerized speed control should fail for any reason.

3/4" & 1 1/8" Bore Silverline Series

Enertrols Silverline™ Fixed Flange and Primary-Mount Series adjustable shock absorbers are designed for compact, job high- energy automated equipment that operates at low velocities from 0.25 to 2.0 feet/second coupled with high Effective-Weight conditions.

By using large diameter piston rods, heat-treated high-pressure meter-ing tubes and extra- long rod bearings, Silverline™ shocks eliminate using heavy oils, internal stop tubes and larger than necessary bore sizes.

Mounting styles available are: Rear Flange (R), Rectangular Rear Flange (RR), Front Flange (F), Rectangular Front Flange (RF), Lug (L) and Clevis (C). Primary-Mount styles can be either front or rear-mounted, using optional screw-on square or rectangular flanges, lug, or clevis-mount fittings.
